Meet Our Local Artisans Ou, born an ordinary boy, unfortunately fell into water as a toddler, leaving him physically challenged. He used to stay home, but with the support of his neighbors, he can now work like others, finding fulfillment in wood carving.

Pon, the group's leader, previously worked overseas, where he gained skills he thought could benefit the artisans in his hometown. Upon returning, he gathered the craftsmen and honed their carving abilities. With his extensive knowledge of trees and wood types, he chose teak over coconut, resulting in more durable, lightweight, and moisture-resistant products suitable for a variety of cooking tasks. Pon not only provides jobs and training but also supports the artisans' children with tuition, stationery, and school uniforms, fostering a sense of gratitude and dedication to their craft.
